The Coffee Nursery

Carefully selected cherries are used for seedling propagation. Seeds are planted in specially prepared soil and covered with hay or banana leaves for shade and moisture retention. Once the seedlings have between 4 and 6 sets of leaves, they are then transplanted into the field.
